Job Title: Senior Big data Engineer (Python / Big Data) – W2 Contract Location: Rutherford, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Duration: 12 Months About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analytics Manager with a proven track record in Python-based data analytics and big data environments. This role requires a strong technical foundation combined with leadership excellence to manage both projects and people in a fast-paced, high-performance setting. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data analytics solutions in production environments. β€’ Apply deep expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL/PLSQL, Kafka, and big data technologies. β€’ Proactively manage analytics project pipelines, ensuring optimal prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery. β€’ Provide strategic mentorship and coaching to team members while driving high performance and fostering career growth. β€’ Influence business outcomes by collaborating closely with AIM leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. β€’ Define business requirements, create robust technical and process documentation, and oversee execution. β€’ Identify and recruit talent with the right skillsets to meet evolving business needs. β€’ Communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business leaders. Qualifications: β€’ Minimum 15+ years of data analytics experience in core development using Python and database technologies. β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field. β€’ Strong hands-on Python coding skills in big data environments. β€’ Expertise in PySpark, SQL/PLSQL, Kafka. β€’ At least 8 years of people management experience. β€’ Proven track record of delivering analytics projects in challenging environments. β€’ Strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and risk mitigation skills. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
