Job Title: Senior Big data Engineer (Python / Big Data) – W2 Contract Location: Rutherford, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Duration: 12 Months About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analytics Manager with a proven track record in Python-based data analytics and big data environments. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data analytics solutions in production environments. • Apply deep expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL/PLSQL, Kafka, and big data technologies. • Proactively manage analytics project pipelines, ensuring optimal prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery. • Provide strategic mentorship and coaching to team members while driving high performance and fostering career growth. • Influence business outcomes by collaborating closely with AIM leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. • Define business requirements, create robust technical and process documentation, and oversee execution. • Identify and recruit talent with the right skillsets to meet evolving business needs. • Communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business leaders. Qualifications: • Minimum 15+ years of data analytics experience in core development using Python and database technologies. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field. • Strong hands-on Python coding skills in big data environments. • Expertise in PySpark, SQL/PLSQL, Kafka. • At least 8 years of people management experience. • Proven track record of delivering analytics projects in challenging environments. • Strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and risk mitigation skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
