Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & Databricks) UK Hybrid | Contract | Competitive Daily Rate
We're supporting a high-profile consulting engagement and are looking for a hands-on Manager/Senior Manager Data Engineer with strong experience across Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
Contract Details:
• Competitive daily rate via umbrella company
• London Hybrid working
• Immediate start preferred
• Initial 6 month contract with extension potential
Key Experience Required:
• Microsoft Fabric
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Lakehouse Architecture
• Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
• PySpark, Python and SQL
• Azure Data Platform (ADLS, Synapse, DevOps)
• Data Engineering and ETL/ELT pipeline development
• CI/CD and deployment best practices
• Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting experience
• Experience leading teams whilst remaining hands-on technically
Desirable Experience:
• Power BI and Semantic Models
• Data Modelling and Data Architecture
• Financial Services experience
• Consulting or professional services background
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms
Ideal candidates will have proven experience delivering Microsoft Fabric and Databricks solutions within large-scale enterprise environments, whilst operating at Manager or Senior Manager level and remaining hands-on with delivery.
