The role of Data Privacy Onshore Senior Developer Lead at Capgemini/Kemper Corporation is a highly specialized position that requires deep expertise in data privacy, compliance, and technical implementation. Key Responsibilities BigID Implementation and Remediation Implement and configure BigID , a leading data discovery and privacy platform. Define policies, create scanning profiles, schedule scans, and manage DSAR (Data Subject Access Requests) processes. Address remediation steps for database audit findings. Data Privacy and Compliance Ensure adherence to global data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA , etc. Automate privacy and compliance functions for data regulations. Data Analysis Perform end-to-end analysis of databases to identify sensitive information (PII, PHI, PCI). Analyze upstream/downstream dependencies and refresh processes from production to non-production environments. Integration Integrate BigID with external applications like Collibra and ServiceNow . Experience with other BigID apps (PIA, RoPA, etc.) is preferred. Leadership and Collaboration Lead and manage deliverables quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth rollout and integration of solutions. Communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders. Project Management Produce weekly status reports and project logs, and track issues, risks, and action items. Manage client expectations and priorities. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills Tool Expertise Hands-on experience with BigID for configuring data sources, defining policies, and creating scanning profiles. Familiarity with the Privacy Portal App and its integration with ServiceNow for DSAR implementation. Knowledge of other BigID apps (e.g., PIA, RoPA). Database and Data Warehouse Knowledge Strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases , including advanced SQL skills. Proficiency in data warehouse concepts and entity relationship diagrams. Ability to analyze database models, referential integrity, and application-enforced integrity. Cloud Platforms: Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP . Programming: Demonstrated experience in writing code projects using Python and Java and troubleshooting complex software modules and developing workarounds for issues. Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred. Automation: Automate privacy and compliance functions for data regulations.
