Role description
LOCAL. US Citizens and Permanent Residents only The client is searching for a dynamic, motivated self-starter, who is passionate about DevOps, with a thirst for knowledge and a firm commitment to schedule and solving problems. You will be joining the Server DevOps team to take our Automated testing to the next level. Role and Responsibilities: β€’ Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. β€’ Help to identify and fix bugs and improve the reliability of our CI/CD Infrastructure. β€’ Learn new technologies and programming languages. β€’ Contribute to the development of new features with a proactive mindset. β€’ Experience in working on Agile and milestone driven product development β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. β€’ Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers when needed. Required: β€’ Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices β€’ Experience with Groovy, Python, Shell β€’ Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. β€’ Good understanding about SCM tools like git/github and CI/CD tools like cloudbees, github actions β€’ Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana is a plus β€’ Proficiency with artifact management tools like JFrog Artifactory and Harbor. β€’ Working knowledge in both Windows and Linux environments including scripting languages (PERL, Python, Ruby) and programming (C/C++, Assembly). β€’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. β€’ Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and system administration. Educational Background: β€’ BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 6+ years of experience. β€’ MS in a relevant field with 1–2 years of experience.
