BI/Reporting Manager
Atlanta, GA 30339 (hybrid; work in the office 1-2 days/month)
6-Month Contract (highly likely to extend; possible FTE conversion)
In this Reporting/BI Manager role, you will be reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Analytics and supporting our client as they consolidate their distribution centers and upgrade to the latest version of SAP warehouse management. This BI team will be managing the data that is flowing through their SAP and Snowflake environments to help the supply chain business teams create effective reporting. The goal of the reporting is to support and improve their supply chain performance monitoring, forecast/demand planning, cost analysis/optimization, scenario planning, and strategic decision support.
Responsibilities:
β’ Perform data management using SQL, Tableau, Python, and Snowflake.
β’ Manage the quality of the data, code, and overall output by the Analysts.
β’ Ensure that SQL is optimized not to overwhelm the server.
β’ Analyze operational and supply chain data through Tableau.
β’ Support the design and implementation of hub-and-spoke distribution networks and inbound-focused distribution center (DC) operations.
β’ Develop and maintain pipeline visualizations in Tableau and automation workflows in Python.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally and with third-party consultants to drive technology transformation initiatives.
β’ Generate actionable insights to drive data cleanup, process improvement, compliance, and technology adoption.
β’ Create decision support tools and financial models to evaluate cost/benefit tradeoffs of proposed solutions.
β’ Document business requirements, system designs, and process flows to support scalable implementation.
β’ Provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of new systems.
Qualifications:
β’ 8-10 years of experience in BI/data analytics and reporting.
β’ Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Python. Snowflake coding experience is a plus.
β’ Strong technical knowledge to manage and review queries and ensure quality output.
β’ SQL optimization techniques to guide Analysts on writing efficient queries that minimize server load.
β’ Tableau dashboarding experience in building and optimizing dashboards to ensure they are efficient and user-friendly.
β’ Predictive modeling experience using Python to support tasks such as predicating container arrival and stock levels at distribution centers.
β’ Supply chain industry experience is a plus.
