BODS Developer

Hello We have an immediate requirement for our client for BODS Developer ( 3 Positions) and 1 Lead BODS position Job Duration: 6 months BODS Developer Must Have Skills: • Proven experience as a BODS developer or engineer, with a strong understanding of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. • Experience with other SAP products or technologies (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP BW) • Proficiency in SQL and database concepts, with hands-on experience working with relational databases • Experience pulling data from Snowflake and posting that data to a CRM • Experience data modeling, schema design, and data profiling. • Experience with Python scripting Day to day responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into target systems such as data warehouses, data marts, or operational data stores. • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy. • Optimize and tune BODS jobs for performance and scalability. • Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes, data mappings, and technical specifications. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes and ETL jobs. LEAD BODS position Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions using SAP BODS. • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into target systems (data warehouses, data marts, operational stores). • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT leaders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Conduct peer reviews, testing, and validation of deliverables. • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and quality. • Optimize and tune BODS jobs for performance and scalability. • Develop and maintain documentation including data mappings, technical specifications, and process flows. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data integration and ETL processes. Must-Have Skills • Proven experience as a Lead on BODS projects. • Strong expertise with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). • Proficiency in SQL and database concepts. • Hands-on experience with relational databases. • Experience extracting data from Snowflake and posting to CRM systems. • Data modeling, schema design, and data profiling expertise. • Experience with Python scripting. • Ability to ask the right technical questions and guide solutions. Additional Details • Must be available for weekend work (48-hour cutovers through March). • Monday–Friday will focus on QA and Stage testing cycles. • Requires ~60-hour work weeks. • Immediate start preferred.
