Job Description – Braze Developer
We are looking for an experienced Braze Developer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in customer engagement platforms, CRM integrations, and marketing automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience implementing and optimizing Braze solutions for enterprise-scale clients.
This is a US Remote opportunity supporting a high-visibility client program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, configure, and support campaigns within Braze platform
• Build and manage multi-channel customer journeys using Braze Canvas, Campaigns, Segments, and Connected Content
• Implement push notifications, in-app messaging, email, SMS, and personalization workflows
• Integrate Braze with CRM/CDP/data platforms using APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and event streams
• Partner with marketing, product, analytics, and engineering teams to execute lifecycle campaigns
• Create dynamic segmentation strategies based on user behavior and customer data
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize engagement, conversions, and retention
• Troubleshoot platform issues, data sync problems, and campaign delivery concerns
• Ensure governance, compliance, and best practices for messaging and customer data usage
• Support migration or modernization initiatives from other platforms to Braze if required
Required Skills:
• 10+ years of IT experience with strong MarTech / CRM background
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Braze development/implementation
• Strong expertise in Braze Canvas, Campaigns, Segments, Liquid Personalization, Connected Content
• Experience with Braze SDK integration for Web / Mobile apps
• Strong API integration experience (REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON)
• Experience with Email / SMS / Push ecosystems
• Strong SQL skills for audience segmentation and reporting
• Experience with CRM/CDP tools such as Salesforce, Segment, Adobe, mParticle, etc.
• Knowledge of customer lifecycle marketing and personalization strategies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
• Braze Certified Professional / Braze certifications
• Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake / Redshift / BigQuery
• JavaScript / HTML / CSS for email templates or custom integrations
• Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation, and analytics tools
• Experience in retail, banking, telecom, or digital consumer businesses
Soft Skills:

• Ownership mindset
• Ability to work independently in remote setup
