Senior S2P Business Analyst Location: Woking, Surrey (Hybrid) Package: Competitive salary, car allowance, bonus potential up to 25%, plus benefits Contract Option: 6-month day-rate contract available (DOE) We’re partnered with a leading organisation to recruit a Senior Source-to-Pay (S2P) Business Analyst who will take ownership of their SAP Ariba landscape and lead a team of Business Analysts and Functional Consultants. This role plays a critical part in delivering business requirements, driving cost efficiencies and improving service across a diverse project portfolio. The Opportunity As the Senior S2P Business Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing S2P process improvements and system initiatives within the Middle Office function. You will work across procurement, supply chain and invoicing processes, ensuring that business needs are translated into effective technology and process solutions. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Delivery • Lead strategic reviews and deliver functional and systems change across major programmes. • Act as workstream lead on large projects and overall lead on smaller initiatives. • Provide leadership to permanent and contract Business Analysts, alongside matrix teams including Infrastructure, Solution Design, Service Delivery and outsourced partners. Business Analysis • Own the full lifecycle of requirements gathering, documentation and translation into functional specifications and test plans. • Ensure all work adheres to internal operating models, service management standards, project lifecycle controls and compliance frameworks. Process Design • Drive the design, documentation and optimisation of business processes using both formal and informal methodologies. • Lead the implementation of new or improved processes and systems. Expertise & Continuous Improvement • Promote best practice across the BA community, collaborating with senior peers. • Evaluate industry and competitor solutions, feeding insights into solution design and delivery. About You We’re seeking a candidate with strong end-to-end S2P knowledge and hands-on experience spanning procurement, supply chain and invoicing. Essential experience includes: • Strong analytical capability with a clear understanding of how IT applications support business value. • Experience with leading ERP systems, particularly SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. • Solid understanding of SAP Ariba or similar S2P platforms. • Knowledge of supplier excellence and vendor management programmes. • Background in IT service delivery and application support. • Proven experience managing teams. • 5–8 years of Business Analysis experience across both Waterfall and Agile environments. • Strong application of BA principles, methods, tools and techniques.
