We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in eliciting and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience collaborating with business system users, developing detailed user stories, and ensuring deliverable quality through clear acceptance criteria. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency with key tools in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Elicit functional and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis based on business needs.
β’ Translate business and product requirements into detailed application requirements and user stories.
β’ Document and maintain acceptance standards to guide testing efforts and ensure high-quality deliverables.
β’ Create low and high-fidelity wireframes to visually represent user flows, processes, and system functionality.
β’ Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including business users, developers, testers, and product owners.
β’ Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify gaps and propose solutions.
β’ Work independently with minimal supervision and also contribute effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
β’ Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools to support requirements documentation and project management.
β’ (Desired) Utilize Team Foundation Server (TFS) for Agile software development lifecycle management and work item tracking.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
β’ Proven experience in translating complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
β’ Strong ability to define and document acceptance criteria to support testing and quality assurance.
β’ Extensive experience with requirements gathering techniques including interviews, workshops, use cases, and document analysis.
β’ Proficiency in creating wireframes and user flow diagrams to communicate system design and functionality.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
β’ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint, and similar productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar Agile tools for backlog and work item management.
