Business Analyst 4

Title: Business Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 9 months (yes - expected to be a full 18-month contract) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, no overtime Pay Rate Range: $40/hr to $45/hr Job Responsibilities • Lead effective execution of the Surface business by monitoring performance, identifying gaps/opportunities, and driving corrective actions with Sales, GTM, Finance, and Supply Chain. • Build and manage business reports and dashboards. • Review and approve contracts, proposals, supplements, budgets, and expenditures. • Oversee project structures, business process documentation, and transaction controls. • Predict potential budget overruns and propose solutions. • Collaborate with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, and client representatives regarding proposals and operational plans. Candidate Requirements • Years of Experience: 8–10 years (senior-level, Level 4 role) • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or related field required • Disqualifiers: Lack of analytical skills, program management experience, or relevant degree • Best Candidate Profile: • Proactive with strong analytical/program management skills • Experience with AI agents and Microsoft • Background in hardware business a plus • Average Candidate Profile: Meets baseline requirements but lacks advanced analytics, AI, or industry exposure • Performance Indicators: • Ability to drive integrated planning and sales process discipline • Quality of insights, reporting, and recommendations • Strength in enabling business partnerships Top Hard Skills Required • Program Management – Minimum 8 years • Analytical Skills (Data Analysis, Reporting, Power BI) – Minimum 8 years • Business Partnership/Enablement (Sales Strategy, Process Discipline) – Minimum 8 years Skills & Competencies • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and ability to work independently • Knowledge of business and management principles (planning, resource allocation, production methods) • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles • Strong business trend analysis and forecasting skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); enterprise applications a plus To apply: Please attach your updated resume
