Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Analyst with a strong background in gathering and analyzing requirements for both mobile applications and web-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of translating business needs into detailed functional specifications, clear user stories, and well-defined acceptance criteria.
The Business Analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders, development teams, and external clients to ensure that project requirements are clearly understood, documented, and implemented effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), QA processes, and project management tools such as JIRA.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for application and web development projects.
β’ Develop comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria to guide development and QA teams.
β’ Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and timely resolution of queries.
β’ Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, design discussions, and regular updates to stakeholders.
β’ Ensure that project deliverables meet business objectives and align with overall product strategy.
β’ Work closely with QA teams to define test scenarios and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
β’ Effectively manage requirements changes throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining documentation accuracy and version control.
β’ Utilize JIRA for requirement tracking, sprint planning, and issue resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
β’ Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis for application and web development projects.
β’ Strong experience in translating complex business requirements into detailed functional documentation and user stories.
β’ Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
β’ In-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
β’ Proficiency in using JIRA for requirements management and agile project tracking.
β’ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
