Business Analyst

This is a hybrid contract role for a Technical Business Analyst who must be on site in our clients offices 3 days per week in Derby. The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with organizational goals. The candidate will be self-assured in dealing with large data sets in disparate locations. Any migration/data centre move background beneficial. Must be able to confidently engage with technical members of the team Responsibilities: • Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Profile and analyse data using Advanced Excel and SQL to support project delivery. • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and offshore delivery teams to ensure alignment. • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences "speaking the language" of both Requirements: • Strong data analyst background with hands-on experience of SQL, Azure DevOps and Databricks. Any experience with Python would be beneficial to your application • Proven track record as a Business Analyst in a consultancy or service-driven organisation. • Ability to understand and communicate technical terminology clearly • Delivery-driven mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills
