Role description
This is a hybrid contract role for a Technical Business Analyst who must be on site in our clients offices 3 days per week in Derby. The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
The successful candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with organizational goals.
The candidate will be self-assured in dealing with large data sets in disparate locations.Β Any migration/data centre move background beneficial. Must be able to confidently engage with technical members of the team
Responsibilities:
β’ Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
β’ Profile and analyse data using Advanced Excel and SQL to support project delivery.
β’ Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and offshore delivery teams to ensure alignment.
β’ Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences "speaking the language" of both
Requirements:
β’ Strong data analyst background with hands-on experience of SQL, Azure DevOps and Databricks. Any experience with Python would be beneficial to your application
β’ Proven track record as a Business Analyst in a consultancy or service-driven organisation.
β’ Ability to understand and communicate technical terminology clearly
β’ Delivery-driven mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills
