Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing business processes, developing data-driven solutions, and supporting project management initiatives. Responsibilities
Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to facilitate informed decision-making.
Support project management activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Design, develop, and optimise databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relevant platforms.
Write and maintain scripts in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), to automate data processing tasks.
Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Create detailed process diagrams and documentation using Visio to support process improvements.
Assist in the realisation of business analysis best practices across projects.
Requirements
Proven experience in business analysis with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Strong SQL skills along with experience working with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database systems.
Knowledge of database design principles and data modelling techniques.
Programming skills in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell) are highly desirable.
Familiarity with project management practices and tools.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
Experience working within a structured environment that utilises Visio for process mapping.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a collaborative environment while contributing to organisational growth through innovative data solutions.
