Role description

About the team: The Digital Transformation Domain is at the heart of our strategic vision, driving two major global investment programs: AI and Integrated Value Chain. These initiatives are critical to accelerating business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and unlocking new opportunities through cutting-edge technology and streamlined processes. The role will sit in the Integrated Value Chain Centre of Excellence and play a key role in shaping the future to transform our business and deliver lasting impact. Role Summary: This role sits within the Global Solutions Domain within Digital Transformation organization in GT&K with a remit to oversee the delivery of the Integrated Value Chain (IVC) programme. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will play a key role in the global Engagement Management and Finance (S/4HANA) Transformation Programme, supporting the global solution design, deployment, and harmonisation of SAP S/4HANA solutions across multiple Member Firms and Regions. This individual will support CoE business architects to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and regional delivery teams, ensuring that business processes, requirements, and data are clearly defined, aligned, and embedded within the global solution. Key Responsibilities: Business Requirements & Process Design β€’ Support business architects when engaging with global and regional business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements β€’ Analyze existing (β€œas-is”) business processes and future-state (β€œto-be”) processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices β€’ Support business architects, application architects, and functional consultants to translate business needs into system capabilities β€’ Support fit-gap analysis and help devise appropriate global template solutions or localizations Solution Delivery & Implementation β€’ Develop and maintain detailed documentation (process maps, business requirement documents, functional specifications, etc.) Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management β€’ Support business stakeholders, providing clarity on process impacts, system capabilities, and design decisions β€’ Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and business process walkthroughs Continuous Improvement β€’ Work with business architects to document opportunities identified for process optimization and automation enabled by S/4HANA functionality (e.g. embedded analytics, AI, Fiori apps) β€’ Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Experience & Skills: Essential: β€’ Experience working in large-scale ERP transformation programs, ideally within SAP S/4HANA β€’ Understanding of end-to-end business processes such as Order to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R) β€’ Experience working in a global, multi-region program environment with multiple stakeholders and time zones β€’ Excellent documentation, process modelling and analytical skills β€’ Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Desirable: β€’ Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies within ERP programs β€’ Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and tools β€’ Experience in management changes or business readiness activities Key Attributes: β€’ Collaborative, analytical, and outcome focused β€’ Comfortable working in a complex, fast-paced global environment β€’ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality β€’ Able to translate complex technical information into business language Tech skills / qualifications: β€’ Proficient in portfolio and project management tools (e.g. Clarity PPM, Planview, ServiceNow, or similar) β€’ Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to senior stakeholders β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail KPMG Overview KPMG is part of a global network of firms that offers Audit, Tax & Legal, Consulting, Deal Advisory and Technology services.
