Business Analyst

Salary: $47.00 to $55.00 hourly Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Bayport, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing and validating system changes, creating data models, and developing user-centric reports to support organizational goals. You will collaborate with team members across various levels to gather application and data requirements, ensuring clear communication and comprehensive documentation. Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret organizational data to support testing and validation of system changes. • Develop new data models and user reports to optimize decision-making processes. • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather and document application and data requirements. • Perform end-to-end testing of applications to ensure functionality and compliance. • Utilize Power BI to design and generate insightful reports for various business functions. • Create detailed documentation for requirements and test scripts, ensuring clarity and usability. • Apply Agile methodology principles to manage project workflows and deliverables. • Provide support for data mapping and documentation using tools such as Informatica. Requirements • Proficiency in reading and writing organizational data models. • Experience writing SQL queries • Experience with Power BI for creating models and generating reports. • Strong skills in application testing and validation processes. • Familiarity with Informatica for basic data mapping and documentation. • Solid understanding of Agile methodology and ability to apply its principles. • Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. • Ability to write clear and comprehensive requirement and test script documentation.
