Job Summary:
Seeking a Business Analyst with strong Excel data modeling and communication skills to support risk calculations, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis. This role involves collaborating with engineers and subject matter experts, compiling data from multiple sources, and presenting findings across departments. The position is mostly remote, with occasional onsite meetings as required.Key Responsibilities:
β’ Perform analysis on moderately complex data models, drawing from multiple reports and data sources.
β’ Assist engineers and subject matter experts with new data model creation.
β’ Collect and organize data, applying different analytical techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
β’ Develop new reports, manage custom/ad-hoc reporting independently, and present findings to stakeholders.
β’ Conduct internal and external research.
β’ Collaborate with peers to exchange ideas and information.
β’ Participate on project teams.
Required Experience:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
β’ Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
β’ Knowledge of electric utilities, substations, and related equipment.
β’ Asset management and risk calculation exposure.
β’ Understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling.
