Location: Hybrid – Knutsford (2–3 days onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Payments Business Analyst with strong API integration expertise and solid knowledge of the payments ecosystem. The role involves requirements analysis, API specification alignment, and stakeholder coordination to support seamless delivery of payment solutions within a regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and document functional & non-functional requirements for payment workflows and APIs
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and validate API specifications and data exchanges
• Analyse card payments, gateways, digital wallets, real-time payments, and settlement processes
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, PSD2, tokenisation, and fraud prevention standards
• Act as liaison between product, technology, and operations stakeholders
• Support SIT/UAT phases by validating API responses, transaction integrity, and data flows
