OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Duties
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to develop comprehensive project specifications.
Design and implement data models, database structures, and ETL processes using tools like SQL Server, Oracle, Talend, and Bash (Unix shell).
Develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to support data-driven decision-making.
Conduct data analysis using R, Python, VBA, and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and insights across large datasets.
Collaborate within Agile project management frameworks to ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with SDLC best practices.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity of project goals and deliverables.
Support database design efforts focusing on linked data integration and database optimization for enhanced performance.
Create detailed process diagrams and documentation using Visio to visualize workflows and system architecture.
Assist in project management activities including planning, tracking progress, and risk mitigation strategies.
Stay current with industry trends in analytics tools such as Talend, Looker, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and emerging technologies.
Skills
Proficiency with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
Expertise in project management principles for effective coordination of analytics initiatives.
Solid experience with database design and management: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle.
Advanced data analysis skills utilizing R, Python, VBA, SQL.
Knowledge of ETL processes with Talend or similar tools; Bash (Unix shell) scripting experience is a plus.
Familiarity with linked data concepts for integrating diverse datasets.
Ability to perform comprehensive analysis skills to interpret complex datasets accurately.
Experience with Visio for process modeling; understanding of database architecture is advantageous.
Strong analytical thinking combined with excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into business insights.
