Role description
Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst -Audience Management - SAS Developer + SQL to join our team for an exciting long-term contract role with one of our esteemed Fortune 500 clients, based in Columbus, OH. This is a hybrid role. Position: Business Analyst -Audience Management - SAS Developer + SQLLocation: Columbus, OH Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, detailed technical specifications. Translate marketing strategies into actionable data-driven solutions and code implementations. Perform end-to-end code reviews to identify data gaps and create comprehensive data dictionaries. Contribute to the design and development of a robust data foundation to support HL marketing campaigns. Build and maintain a strong understanding of marketing campaign workflows and related data. Extract, analyze, and manipulate data from various internal and external sources using SQL and SAS. Develop, test, and execute SAS/SQL code to define campaign target audiences. Ensure data quality by maintaining accuracy, consistency, and integrity across processes. Communicate data insights and technical nuances effectively to both technical and business teams to optimize marketing performance. Independently manage and deliver projects from initiation to completion with minimal oversight. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a business discipline with a strong quantitative focus. Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience using SQL and/or SAS on platforms like Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-first mindset. Proven ability to align technical solutions with business goals and strategic initiatives. Self-starter with a proactive approach and a results-oriented mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex data concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and meticulous attention to detail. Collaborative, confident, and analytically driven, with the ability to deliver pragmatic, high-quality outcomes. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience in campaign marketing and an understanding of targeted marketing methodologies. SAS Base Certification or higher.
