Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Consultant with strong expertise in Pharma Sales Operations, Commercial Forecasting, and Analytics to join a high-impact Life Sciences consulting team.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end delivery of commercial analytics solutions, partnering closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to solve complex challenges across sales, marketing, and market access domains. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving data-driven decision-making and delivering actionable insights that influence strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Commercial Analytics & Strategy
• Lead sales and commercial analytics initiatives, including forecasting and performance tracking
• Deliver insights using Rx, claims, and HCP/HCO data
• Support new product launch strategy and analytics
• Drive segmentation and targeting strategies for HCPs and HCOs
🔹 Business Consulting & Delivery
• Lead client engagements, from requirements gathering to solution delivery
• Conduct As-Is / To-Be business process mapping and improvement initiatives
• Translate business needs into analytical and reporting solutions
• Prepare and present client-ready decks and strategic recommendations
🔹 Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business & IT)
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams
Required Qualifications
🔹 Pharma Domain Expertise (Must Have)
• Strong experience in Pharma Commercial / Sales Analytics
• Hands-on experience with claims data (IQVIA, Symphony, etc.)
• Knowledge of HCP/HCO targeting, segmentation, and affiliations (IDN/GPO)
• Experience in territory alignment and incentive compensation analytics
🔹 Consulting & Analytical Skills
• Proven ability in business analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
• Strong expertise in data storytelling and executive presentations
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
🔹 Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
• Exposure to SAS, R, or Python is a plus
• Familiarity with CRM systems (SFDC), MDM, and data warehousing concepts
