Role description

ANGARAI is seeking passionate Business Analysts to be part of transformative initiatives and help shape effective, real-world solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to streamline business processes, develop user stories, automate workflows, and enhance reporting through dashboards and data insights. If you're driven by technology, efficiency, and public service, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

Duties/Responsibilities

As a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership, you will:

   • Collaborate daily with program managers, technical leads, and vendors to shape product roadmaps, groom backlogs, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.

   • Analyzing technical and financial workflows and requirements, recommending changes to business processes.

   • Lead the analysis and documentation of data reporting needs, building dashboards and enhancing business intelligence tools across enterprise systems.

   • Create user stories and requirement packages that drive continuous improvement, feature development, and system modernization efforts.

   • Design and document both current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes by engaging with stakeholders across departments and partner organizations.

   • Contribute to automation initiatives—such as e-invoicing, compliance tracking, and role-based access—to streamline operations and improve user experience.

   • Participate in all Agile ceremonies (daily stand ups, sprint reviews, PI planning), and report on progress through weekly status summaries.

   • Support project feasibility assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and contribute to strategic decision-making in IT Steering Committees.

   • Ensure all solutions meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508, ADA) and align with state and federal SDLC and security policies.

   • Assist with Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) evaluations, DevOps tool usage, documentation, knowledge transfer, and overall project coordination.

Requirements

Education:

   • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information technology related.

   • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.

   • Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements gathering, and system documentation.

Preferred certifications:

   • IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).

   • IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS).

   • Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or equivalent.

General Experience:

   • Experience in eliciting, documenting, and analyzing business processes.

   • Ability to recommend process improvements effectively.

   • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

   • Proficient in creating process diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

   • Basic project management experience preferred.

   • Familiar with Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite) tools.
