Role description
We are supporting a dynamic healthcare organization committed to improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency throughout their portfolio of physician run practices. Currently, we are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join the team, supporting data and system access operations on a long-term contract basis. Position: Business Analyst Schedule: Full-time contract Location: Remote The Business Analyst will play a key role in organizing, preparing, and consolidating data from multiple systems and sources. This position involves manually gathering files, configuring data files, and managing user access credentials across various platforms. Your work will support operational decision-making and contribute to data-driven initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities • Collect, consolidate, and organize data files manually from various internal systems and external sources. • Configure, clean, and structure data to ensure it’s usable for business and analytics purposes. • Manage user access credentials and setup across multiple systems and platforms, ensuring proper security protocols are followed. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver accurate, timely data sets. • Maintain documentation for access requests, data sources, file structures, and workflows. • Identify opportunities to streamline data gathering and file configuration processes. • Troubleshoot access or data issues and escalate where necessary. • Support ad hoc data and reporting requests from stakeholders. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in a business analyst, operations analyst, or data support role—preferably in a healthcare environment. • Strong understanding of data handling, file formats (CSV, Excel, etc.), and basic data configuration practices. • Experience managing credentials or user access in enterprise systems (e.g., EHRs, CRMs, internal tools). • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. • Ability to manage multiple data sources and manual processes efficiently. • Proficiency with Excel and basic knowledge of data tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
