Details Req ID: Sedaa3808 Title: Business Analyst Location: Oakland CA, Hybrid Rate: 70k to 85k annually Description: β€’ β€’ LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY in CLIENT service territory β€’ β€’ The role is hybrid, up to 4 days as needed per month onsite at Oakland General Office. β€’ Client laptop will be provided once available. A vendor-issued laptop would be acceptable to access the CLIENT network via VPN/Citrix until CLIENT issues one. No other equipment will be provided and additional equipment needed is the responsibility of supplier. Calls to be made via MS Teams. β€’ Position Summary A business analyst, under the Integrated Grid Planning Organization: β€’ Ability to build and maintain automated data routines and reporting processes to ensure data accuracy and quality. β€’ Experience responding to ad hoc data requests and supporting operational analysis efforts. β€’ Strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams and translate business needs into data driven solutions. β€’ Experience developing, managing, and supporting business requirements and business processes. β€’ Ability to document processes, projects, and requirements clearly and maintain documentation for IGP initiatives. β€’ Experience conducting light data analysis using SAP, GIS, Foundry, and Microsoft Excel. β€’ Ability to track and record investment changes accurately. β€’ Strong organizational skills, including maintaining and managing documentation in SharePoint. β€’ Experience supporting cataloging and documentation activities across multiple initiatives. β€’ Ability to analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities. β€’ Experience collecting, cleaning, integrating, and managing data from enterprise systems such as SAP, GIS. β€’ Experience extracting and analyzing data from SAP to support planning, reporting, and decision making. β€’ Experience using GIS tools for spatial analysis and location based insights. Minimum Qualifications: β€’ BA/BS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Implementation Engineering and a solid foundation in Electric and Power Systems Engineering β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences β€’ In depth understanding of Microsoft Suit β€’ Impeccable organization skills β€’ Proficiency in developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau β€’ Familiarity with Copperleaf for asset investment planning, lifecycle cost analysis, and value based decision support Desired Qualifications: β€’ Copperleaf/IFS or other investment management tools β€’ Experience with Foundry/Palantir β€’ Working knowledge of Foundry for data analysis and data modeling
