Business Analyst with Data Analysis Experience (only W2 10+ Years)

Job Title: Business Analyst with data analysis Location: Atlanta, GA, United States Work Type: Hybrid (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) REQUIREMENTS Must Have: 5+ YOE in Business Analysis and 3+ YOE in Data Analysis Experience writing business documents and reports backed on data and its value, gathering requirements, and providing meaningful insight from data analysis Expert in SQL Nice to Have: Data testing, UAT Lucid, AWS, data digitalization - data bricks, tableau Thrives with minimal guidance and is able to determine the best next steps Disqualifiers - NO consultants, they must have active corporate experience Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise - Proficiency in SQL for querying data for insights. - Familiarity with AWS cloud platform as it relates to data engineering and data science. - Familiarity with lucid or other diagramming software. Analytical Skills - Ability to analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights. - Experience in data visualization tools like Databricks, Athena, or Tableau. Communication and Collaboration - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams. - Experience with Confluence and Jira Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of progressive analytics and data visualization experience - Experience using tools such as Excel, Database and Data Warehouse applications (postgress or some sql db, databricks or equivalent) and others to directly query, assess, and analyze data to meet business needs Success Metrics The effectiveness of the Business Analyst (Cloud Governance) can be measured by: - Successful implementation of governance policies/standards utilized across the organization. - Successful implementation of cloud governance platform capabilities as defined by platform/rule owners and cloud governance engineering team initiatives. - Successful delivery of data based metrics for decision making. - Positive feedback from stakeholders on cloud governance initiatives. This project supports development and management of the Cloud Compliance Management platform which includes: policy lifecycle management, compliance detection, compliance notification, and compliance reporting for cloud infrastructure. We need a self-starter, problem solver, solid skills in building requirements, stakeholder alignment, data analysis, technical skill with SQL queries, testing and data validation.
