Role and Experience Required:
Minimum 5 and maximum 8 years in business analysis (cannot exceed 8 yrs. of experience)
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders and documentation reviews.
Conduct detailed analysis of current processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Document existing processes end-to-end and produce up-to-date process flows.
Transform business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and use cases for IT delivery.
Own the creation and maintenance of process maps, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures.
Continuously learn new business domains and technology stacks to ensure documentation stays current.
Proactively seek out opportunities to learn and apply new tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Create and maintain an API playbook that serves as a reference for both business and technical teams.
Collaborate with product owners, Scrum masters, developers, and other IT teams to design solutions that align with requirements.
Validate proposed solutions through feasibility assessments and impact analysis.
Partner with QA/QE to define and execute test plans, cases, and scripts verifying functionality and usability.
Facilitate defect triage and drive timely resolution.
Serve as the liaison between business units and IT teams, fostering clear communication and alignment.
Build strong relationships with business partners, understanding their priorities and advocating for high-value solutions.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Skills/Experience:
Experience with SQL with the ability to write queries and pull reports.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs (design, consumption, and documentation).
Produce clear process flows, SOPs, and API reference guides.
Own documentation and documentation quality.
Ability to drive consensus across stakeholders.
Experience with Agile/Scrum tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Experience with process-mapping tools ( Miro).
Good understanding of dental health insurance a plus!
