Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days Remote / 2 Days Onsite (Thursday & Friday)

Hours: Up to 1200 Hours
Important Requirement:
• Candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin, TX
• Candidates currently living out of state and planning to relocate will not be considered
Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to define requirements, support system development, and ensure technology solutions align with overall business strategies. The position requires strong experience in business analysis, data analysis, SDLC processes, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and evaluate business systems, processes, and user requirements
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement and technology solutions
• Document detailed functional requirements, user stories, and system specifications
• Perform business process mapping and support business process reengineering initiatives
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities including design reviews and testing
• Support unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Conduct risk analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and ROI evaluations
• Serve as liaison between business teams and IT groups including architecture and application teams
Required Skills & Experience:
• 12+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Strong understanding of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) practices
• Experience analyzing business systems and gathering complex requirements
• Experience participating in SDLC activities including analysis, design, and testing
• Experience supporting unit testing, system testing, and UAT
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Experience analyzing raw data and performing data analysis
Preferred Skills:
• Experience implementing case management systems
• Experience using Jira for project management
