Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - ERP Transformation in Austin, TX. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale ERP transformation initiative. This role is heavily focused on discovery, current-state analysis, and process optimization, with a specific emphasis on custom order and product customization workflows. You will partner closely with business and technology teams to analyze complex processes, identify gaps, and drive clarity across highly integrated systems. Key Responsibilities: Discovery & Process Analysis: β€’ Lead discovery sessions to understand and document current-state (As-Is) business processes β€’ Create detailed process artifacts including process maps, swimlane diagrams, and value streams β€’ Identify inefficiencies, system limitations, integration gaps, and data flow issues β€’ Partner with stakeholders to define business pain points and improvement opportunities Requirements Gathering & Documentation: β€’ Facilitate workshops to gather and validate business and functional requirements Translate Requirements Into Clear Deliverables Such As β€’ Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) β€’ User stories and acceptance criteria β€’ Use cases and process flows β€’ Support backlog creation and prioritization Business Value & Transformation Support: β€’ Develop Business Value Assessments (BVAs) to help quantify expected benefits and outcomes β€’ Support gap analysis between current and future state processes β€’ Help define future-state workflows aligned with transformation goals Cross-Functional Collaboration: β€’ Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams β€’ Work across multiple functions including supply chain, product, sales, and operations β€’ Ensure alignment across interconnected systems and workflows Requirements β€’ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or transformation initiatives β€’ Proven experience leading current-state discovery and process documentation β€’ Strong background in requirements gathering and stakeholder facilitation β€’ Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or similar platforms β€’ Ability to translate complex business needs into structured documentation β€’ Experience analyzing cross-functional workflows and system integrations β€’ Process modeling (flow diagrams, swimlanes, value streams) β€’ Requirements elicitation and analysis β€’ Strong systems thinking across integrated platforms β€’ Data flow and integration analysis β€’ Business value articulation and problem-solving β€’ Stakeholder communication and facilitation β€’ Ability to bring structure and clarity to complex environments Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience supporting ERP transformations or large-scale system implementations β€’ Background in manufacturing, retail, or consumer products environments β€’ Exposure to product customization, order management, or configurable product workflows β€’ Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Lucid chart The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
