Position- Business Analyst (ONSITE) Location: Lansing, MI Interview-In person ONLY W2 CANDIDATES, LOCAL TO MICHIGAN ONLY Position Overview The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements from clients, and ensuring a thorough understanding of those requirements in order to effectively communicate business needs and system functionality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role also serves as the Scrum Master, with heavy use of Azure DevOps, and coordinates with the PMO’s Project Manager to provide required artifacts. Responsibilities ·        Facilitate requirements-gathering meetings to identify impacted business processes and document requirements with input from project stakeholders. ·        Develop and maintain the project backlog in Azure DevOps, collaborating with the product owner to prioritize features and stories throughout Agile projects. ·        Ensure project scope alignment by monitoring and validating the requirements process against defined objectives. ·        Support governance by ensuring data requirements are addressed and communicated to stakeholders. ·        Provide analysis for Build vs. Buy decisions and assess the impact of scope or requirement changes on project benefits. ·        Ensure timely completion of SEM (System Engineering Methodology) deliverables. ·        Collaborate with project teams including UI/UX architects, developers, DBAs, and QA testers to ensure shared understanding of requirements and solution scalability. ·        Resolve critical IT issues as they pertain to the BA role. Required Skills & Experience ·        5+ years as a Business Analyst, including requirement elicitation, documentation, and analysis. ·        5+ years of Quality Assurance knowledge and understanding of BA/QA/DEV roles and responsibilities. ·        5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (epics, features, user stories, backlog management, lifecycle tracking). ·        5+ years of experience analyzing as-is/to-be processes and creating business content. ·        3+ years of experience in Agile methodologies and product roadmap creation. ·        Proficiency with BA tools such as Figma and Visio. ·        Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
