We are currently supporting a client initiative to enhance their Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities by identifying a skilled Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions. This role is pivotal in driving Agile-based delivery, improving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring clarity in documentation and execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, hands-on experience with Jira, and a proactive mindset to help translate business goals into actionable insights. Responsibilities • Collaborate with business stakeholders and BI developers to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions. • Translate business needs into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria within an Agile framework. • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. • Use Jira to manage and track user stories, tasks, and sprint progress. • Ensure consistent and thorough documentation of requirements, workflows, and data definitions. • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity. • Support data validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure deliverables meet business expectations. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Business Analyst. • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. • Proficiency with Jira for Agile project tracking and management. • Experience with Confluence preferred. • Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable requirements. • Ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technical team members. • Experience supporting BI/Data Teams preferred. • Insurance industry experience preferred.
