Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Remote

Typical Day in the Role
β’ Purpose of the Team: The purpose of the team is to support Talent Management COE tools
β’ Key projects: This role will serve as the primary project manager and liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, overseeing initiatives from requirements gathering through to implementation. The individual will be responsible for understanding and translating opportunity areas and problem statements into clear, actionable business requirements. They will conduct user acceptance testing and facilitate focus groups to ensure the end-user experience aligns with business needs. Additionally, the role includes supporting the succession tool by maintaining and enhancing the existing production module, implementing minor changes in collaboration with engineering. The candidate will also manage communications with the business to elicit and refine requirements, support the first-party tool, coordinate upgrades or changes, and ensure seamless communication and alignment with the engineering team.
β’ Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will be focused on 30% testing, 30% focus on the production module, and 30% focus on the first party tool.

Candidate Requirements
β’ Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years of experience required for the role
β’ Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required. SAP certification is a plus
β’ Disqualifiers: Candidates with lack of experience in the tech industry, job hopping, low tenure (looking for someone to stay on for 18 months) will not be eligible for the role.
β’ Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would be someone who is an independent worker, has a SAP certification, experience with business analysis, and experience stakeholder management requirements gathering.
β’ Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, not receiving escalations, and team feedback from the stakeholders.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 2-3 years experience with Program/Project management skills working with stakeholders.
1. Minimum 3 year experience with Excel (Vlook ups, etc)
1. Minimum 1 year experience with SAP Success Factors Succession Module
Summary:
The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
β’ Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
β’ Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
β’ Set up project and work breakdown structures.
β’ Establish and document business processes.
β’ Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
β’ Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
Skills:
β’ Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and manage oneβs time.
β’ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
β’ Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
β’ Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
β’ Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience is a plus.
Education/Experience:
β’ Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field required.
β’ 5-7 years of experience required.
