Job Title Business Analyst Duration 12 months (Nov 1, 2025 – Oct 31, 2026) Location Jefferson City, Missouri Role Summary We are seeking highly experienced Business Analysts and Quality Assurance professionals to support the Client's project and related education data systems. These resources will work closely with supervisors, business users, and technical teams to provide business analysis, system documentation, quality assurance testing, and application maintenance support. Mandatory Qualifications Business Analyst β€’ 5+ years experience in: β€’ Requirements gathering & documentation β€’ Stakeholder communication (business & technical translation) β€’ Defining scope and system functionalities β€’ Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) β€’ 3+ years experience in: β€’ Writing user stories β€’ Testing documentation & application specifications β€’ Working in Azure DevOps (ADO) β€’ Additional Skills (Preferred): β€’ Basic SQL query writing β€’ Financial applications with complex calculations β€’ Workflow documentation in Visio Methodology Knowledge β€’ Strong knowledge of Agile & Waterfall SDLC (ability to explain where each applies). β€’ Experience with documentation of testing processes, acceptance methods, and lifecycle testing. Soft Skills β€’ Ability to communicate with business partners and β€œtough customers.” β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, state government IT environment. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
