Title: Business Analyst III – Energy Analytics (Renewable Settlements & Invoicing) Location: Remote Contract Duration: 12–24 months 🎯 What the Hiring Manager is Targeting They are looking for a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically someone who understands how renewable energy settlements work (such as vPPAs, RECs, deregulated vs regulated markets) and is comfortable managing high-volume financial tracking activities (POs, invoices, payments, energy credits tracking). This role is NOT a generic Business Analyst — it’s finance + energy operations + data tracking. Candidates from utilities, renewable project developers, sustainability consulting firms, or energy certificate tracking platforms will fit best. About the Role We are seeking a Business Analyst with a background in renewable energy settlements to support our Global Energy Analytics team. This role will focus on managing financial workflows and compliance tracking for over 200 renewable energy projects worldwide, contributing to our clean energy strategy for AI infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Manage Purchase Orders (POs), invoice processing, payment tracking, and issue resolution • Track and log Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) and environmental attribute certificates • Support settlements of Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (vPPAs) and other renewable contracts • Maintain structured data entry and portfolio tracking across multiple projects • Communicate invoice/payment status updates and report KPIs to stakeholders • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance Must-Have Qualifications • 2–5 years of experience in renewable energy operations, settlements, or energy finance • Knowledge of REC tracking systems, vPPA structures, and regulated vs deregulated markets • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliation tracking) • Experience with Purchase Orders and invoicing processes Nice-to-Have Skills • Background with renewable project developers or energy asset management • Experience with tracking systems such as M-RETS or other REC registries • Salesforce familiarity Why Join? • Be part of a high-impact energy strategy team powering AI infrastructure • Work on one of the largest renewable project portfolios globally • Shape how clean energy procurement and tracking is executed at scale Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
