Role description
Join our team as a Business Analyst and support a portfolio of internal applications used for banking supervision and consumer protection. This role combines IT governance and compliance (FISMA, ATO, PIA, system inventory) with hands-on business analysis and requirements development for application enhancements and new systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain FISMA documentation (SSPs, security categorizations) and coordinate ATO cycles.
• Draft and update Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
• Manage IT system inventory and support data governance and records compliance.
• Serve as liaison with security, privacy, and compliance offices.
• Elicit and document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements for developers.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with FISMA documentation, ATO processes, and PIAs.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and SP 800-37.
• Strong business requirements and process documentation experience.
• Excellent written communication skills; ability to work with senior subject matter experts.
Preferred Qualifications
• Federal government or regulatory experience.
• Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform or SharePoint Online.
• Relevant security/privacy certifications a plus.
This role requires an onsite presence during training for the first 6-8 weeks. There will be an option for telework after successful onboarding & training.
