Location: Hybrid on-site Torrance, CA Employment Type: Contract Eligibility: W2 Only - No 3rd Parties Key Responsibilities • Perform business systems analysis for enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives • Conduct system analysis for projects and enhancements following SDLC methodologies (Agile & Waterfall) • Facilitate workshops (e.g., JAD sessions), data analysis, and business process/workflow analysis • Gather, refine, validate, and prioritize complex business requirements into a clear backlog • Occasionally manage project plans, track progress, and report status • Coordinate and lead meetings with stakeholders and distribute meeting minutes • Support production systems as needed • Create and execute test cases (white-box and black-box) for batch and online processes • Develop presentations and communication materials for various stakeholders • Analyze business operations to identify automation opportunities • Assist in business process redesign and documentation for new technologies • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams • Facilitate communication and negotiation between business units and IT • Align technology solutions with business strategies • Support multiple moderately complex business processes • Assist Project Managers with project planning and execution • Lead smaller projects and facilitate project planning activities • Conduct feasibility studies including cost/benefit and technical analysis • Coach and mentor junior team members Must Have Skills • Experience delivering consumer-facing websites, digital platforms, or services with complex data and integrations • Strong hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery models • Experience with workshop facilitation (e.g., JAD sessions, empathy mapping), data analysis, and workflow design • Technical background to interpret and map complex business requirements to system architecture • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for managing project artifacts and user stories Wants • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field • Ability to gather and refine complex business requirements and assess interdependencies • Experience developing business cases and conducting impact analysis • Understanding of compliance, governance, and audit principles • Knowledge of business architecture and its relationship to other systems • Strong communication and stakeholder negotiation skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams • Ability to innovate, multitask, and work with minimal supervision Additional Requirements • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and defend business strategies • Ability to assess organizational impact of changes and recommend solutions
