Position Overview
The Business Analyst 1 supports the Product Management team in driving profitable growth within propulsion and performance parts portfolios. This role leverages data analysis, reporting tools, and cross-functional collaboration to inform pricing, inventory, and product strategy decisions across engines, transmissions, and related components.
The position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office presence required three days per week, aligned with organizational hybrid work expectations.

Key Responsibilities
β’ Data Analysis & Reporting
β’ Perform advanced Excel-based data analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
β’ Prepare and analyze backorder and availability reports in partnership with Supply Chain to identify root causes and recovery timing.
β’ Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize business performance and communicate insights.
β’ Product & Pricing Support
β’ Support pricing initiatives, including price setting, adjustments, and competitive benchmarking.
β’ Analyze sales performance, retention trends, margin, and competitive positioning to support portfolio decisions.
β’ Assist with core management processes, including dealer returns analysis and issue identification.
β’ Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to Product Managers.
β’ Operations & Stakeholder Engagement
β’ Utilize sales and aftersales systems to retrieve, validate, and analyze data.
β’ Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, and field teams.
β’ Communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely to cross-functional stakeholders.
β’ Participate in and occasionally support meetings to align on priorities and action plans.
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree (completed or in progress) preferred; equivalent experience considered.
β’ Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, large dataset analysis, data cleansing).
β’ Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
β’ Familiarity with AI tools to enhance reporting and communication efficiency.
β’ Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
β’ Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
β’ Experience working in automotive, manufacturing, OEM, supplier, or dealership environments preferred.
β’ Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working with customer care, aftersales, or parts-related processes and systems.
β’ Working knowledge of powertrain systems (engines, transmissions, performance components).
β’ Experience with electronic parts catalogs or sales/aftersales systems.
β’ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
Hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Balanced workload: approximately 50% independent analysis and 50% collaborative teamwork.
Interaction with cross-functional partners including supply chain, logistics, and dealership operations.
Participation in standard organizational shutdown days.
