Business Analyst

In this role, you will: • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors • Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures, and compliance requirements • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify improvement opportunities. • Design, develop, and test data pipelines and software solutions to support regulatory reporting (FR 2052a). • Create and maintain documentation including test plans, technical designs, and user stories. • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. • Provide implementation support and troubleshoot issues in production environments. • Proactively propose innovative solutions and improvements to enhance system performance and compliance. • Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues and consult for remediation. Desired Qualifications: • Experience in Corporate Treasury, Accounting, or Forecasting at large financial institutions. • Knowledge of banking products and funding mechanisms. • Strong analytical skills in balance sheet, liquidity, and capital analysis. • Familiarity with regulatory reporting, especially FR 2052a, is a strong plus. • Strong experience with data analysis, business and technical writing, and testing. • Knowledge of liquidity management, capital markets, or financial risk management. • Experience working in agile environments, Jira, Confluence. • 2+ years' experience writing SQL. • Familiarity with Informatica and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx. • Experience with large-scale data warehouse environments. Star schema dimensional model. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
