Business Analyst

Job Title: Data/Business Analyst – Contractor & Program Operations Location: Pomona, CA Work Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite) Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support contractor operations, data accuracy initiatives, and program migrations. This role focuses on analyzing large datasets, improving data quality, and supporting oversight programs related to contractor personnel and cybersecurity reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Perform detailed analysis on large volumes of contractor and personnel data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies, • Support data cleanup and data quality improvements by researching, validating, and correcting inconsistencies. • Assist with the migration of business areas into a Field & Contractor Oversight program, including: • Assessing business needs. • Developing and assigning provisioning/job templates. • Verifying all changes are completed accurately and on time. • Review and analyze cybersecurity and phishing program data to identify trends. • Support senior leadership and vendors by contributing to reports and data insights. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through email, Teams, phone calls, and meetings. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, large datasets). • Proven experience working with large, complex datasets containing multiple data attributes. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and a customer service–focused mindset. • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Experience supporting program operations, reporting, or data governance is a plus.
