Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst with over 8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in the healthcare software domain. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders, development teams, and end-users to ensure successful delivery of software products and enhancements within healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
• Translate complex business processes into user stories, use cases, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, QA, and end-users.
• Work on healthcare-specific software projects involving EMRs/EHRs, clinical systems, patient portals, or health data integrations (HL7, FHIR, etc.).
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies to support decision-making.
• Drive the development of data mapping, system integration, and data migration documentation.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, user interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support QA and UAT processes by defining test cases, validating outcomes, and managing defect resolution.
• Monitor project progress, manage requirement changes, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, privacy regulations (HIPAA), and interoperability guidelines.
• Provide domain expertise on healthcare operations, terminology, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working on healthcare software projects.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, standards, and terminology.
• Proficient in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, and wireframes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar).
• Experience with FHIR, HL7, EDI, HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, or similar.
• Prior experience with healthcare data analytics, reporting tools, or patient engagement platforms.
