This Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our growing software product team. This individual will play a critical role in defining and refining product requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that meet both business objectives and user needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business goals into detailed requirements, epics, and user stories. Work closely with UX Designers to ensure user experience considerations are embedded into functional requirements. Partner with Project Managers, Developers, and QA testers to align on priorities, scope, and delivery timelines. Gather, document, and analyze requirements using industry-standard techniques (process flows, wireframes, acceptance criteria, etc.). Manage and groom Jira boards including story creation, refinement, backlog prioritization, and sprint readiness. Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and daily stand-ups to ensure shared understanding across teams. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in requirements; propose solutions to resolve issues. Adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on quality and outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and team collaboration practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT or software-focused environment (mid to senior level strongly preferred). Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with requirements management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including UX Designers, Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, and QA testers. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail and business value. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance business needs, technical feasibility, and user experience. Preferred Skills Experience in SaaS or large-scale platform development. Familiarity with tools like Figma or similar for collaboration and documentation. Background in industries where project management, design, and operational workflows are central (e.g., construction tech, design-build, or related fields).
