Job Title: Linux / RHEL Administrator
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19107 (Remoteβ Onsite on needed basis)Type: Contract: 10 months
Responsibilities:
Maintain and tune Oracle 19c (and above) databases supporting IDEA IDS.
Perform partitioning, indexing, archiving, and backup/recovery.
Monitor performance metrics and troubleshoot slow queries or bottlenecks.
Apply database patches, upgrades, and security configurations.
Document and maintain database standards and operational manuals.
Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) preferred.
7+ years of DBA experience in large-scale data warehouse environments.
Expertise in PL/SQL, performance tuning, partitioning, and backup strategies.
Strong knowledge of disaster recovery planning and data security controls.
