Job Title: Business Analyst with Oracle APEX Location: Seattle, WA (Remote) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Experience Required: 8+ Years Overview of Business Analyst Roles with Oracle Methodology Business Analysts (BAs) with expertise in Oracle methodologies play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. They leverage Oracle applications to enhance business processes, streamline operations, and ensure efficient system performance. Their work lays the groundwork for both functional and technical aspects of enterprise projects. Must have Oracle APEX experience. Key Responsibilities General Duties: • Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement • Gather, document, and translate requirements from stakeholders • Configure Oracle applications to meet evolving business needs • Ensure seamless integration of Oracle solutions with existing systems Specific Tasks: • Develop functional specifications for system enhancements • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate delivered solutions • Create and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and system changes Required Skills Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency in Oracle applications, particularly Oracle APEX, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Oracle Cloud • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and write SQL queries • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes Soft Skills: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams If you have extensive experience with Oracle APEX and a strong background in business analysis, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading client in the cruise industry.
