Business Analyst - Enterprise Applications Client Industry: Consumer Goods Manufacturing and Distribution Fort Worth, TX Hybrid Contract, 2 days onsite required Duration: 6 Months, possibly with extension We are looking for a motivated Oracle Functional Consultant to join a dynamic team that supports enterprise business systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between business operations and technology, solving complex problems, and improving how organizations leverage Oracle Cloud ERP. The role focuses on supply chain and finance processes, providing functional expertise, operational support, and driving improvements in system usage and process efficiency. Key Responsibilities β€’ Serve as the functional lead for Oracle Cloud ERP modules in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Financials, supporting day-to-day business operations β€’ Monitor system performance, validate data flows, and ensure stable operations for ERP and integrated applications β€’ Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable functional specifications β€’ Coordinate and resolve incidents, service requests, and operational issues with clear communication to stakeholders β€’ Support root cause analysis and implement improvements that enhance system reliability and user experience β€’ Participate in testing, release planning, and validation of ERP changes and enhancements β€’ Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards across all supported systems β€’ Document business processes, workflows, and ERP configurations to support knowledge sharing and operational sustainability β€’ Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and quality standards β€’ Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement across SCM and finance processes Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience β€’ 3+ years supporting enterprise business applications or ERP platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud ERP β€’ Functional experience with Oracle SCM modules (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory, Logistics) and/or Financials (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets) β€’ Experience in operational support, business process analysis, and requirements gathering β€’ Familiarity with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware platforms, or data flows β€’ Exposure to IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow, and understanding of ITIL practices β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and business teams
