Description: Title: Business Analyst (Payment and Billing) Location: Hybrid in Irwindale, CA 91702 Duration: 1 year and 6 Months Contract with possible extension Payrate: $40/hr - $48.00 per hr on W2 Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload: • This position will play a key role in managing customer enrollment and payment operations for Client Flexible Pricing Rate Pilot • • • as well as conducting additional reporting. This position is responsible for receiving and validating enrollment forms from account managers, submitting eligible customers to a third party supplier for enrollment, and confirming enrollment status back to stakeholders. • The role also includes overseeing manual enrollment processes for Automation Service Providers, maintaining detailed metrics on enrollment activity (e.g., number of customers, MW enrolled, benefiters vs. non-benefiters), and tracking billing status. This role will also manage manual customer payments and facilitate payments to contractors and other third parties. Required Skills/Attributes: • BA/BS Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline • Four or more years of experience with business analysis • Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Access or other similar tools for tracking and reporting • Ability to understand and conduct payment processing and reconciliation • Ability to follow and improve upon business processes • Strong attention to detail to validate information on forms is correct • Experience with manual data entry • Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume tasks during ramp-up periods Desired Skills/Attributes: • Experience with customer programs and billing in a utility or similarly regulated environment • Familiarity with SAP • Experience using advanced analytical tools such SAS, Power BI or other similar tools. • Experience working with budgets. • Experience creating and using pivot tables, charts, and graphs and the ability to work with larger datasets (e.g., containing data for several hundred thousand accounts). • Proficiency identifying trends in complex data and arriving at solutions rooted in information. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Demonstrates strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning
