Role description
Job OverviewAs a Business Analyst, you will be the driving force behind our data-driven decision-making process. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, analyze data, and develop actionable insights that propel our organization forward. Your expertise in various analytical tools and methodologies will empower you to transform complex data into strategic recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and drive growth. What you’ll do Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Analyze data using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and R to generate meaningful insights and visualizations that inform decision-making. Manage projects through the Agile methodology, ensuring timely delivery of solutions while adapting to changing priorities. Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to streamline data integration from various sources. Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to identify areas for improvement. Utilize SQL and Microsoft SQL Server for database management and querying to support data analysis efforts. Create detailed documentation using Visio for process mapping and database design to facilitate clear communication among teams. Employ programming skills in Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for automation of repetitive tasks and enhancement of analytical capabilities. Basic qualifications Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data sets. Experience in business analysis or a related field with a focus on delivering actionable insights. Preferred qualifications Proficiency in analytics tools such as Looker, Talend, Oracle, and linked data technologies. Familiarity with project management principles and techniques.
