Primary Job Title: Business Analyst Alternate/Related Job Titles: • Risk and Control Analyst • Business Process Analyst - Risk Management • Operational Risk Consultant Location: Mount Laurel, NJ (Remote - East Coast hours) Onsite Flexibility: Remote Contract Details: • Position Type: Contract • Contract Duration: 10 months • Start: As Soon As Possible • Pay Rate: $55.00-$60.00/hr Job Summary The Business Analyst IV, Risk & Control will play a key role in supporting ongoing risk assessment and business process excellence projects. This role involves facilitating risk and control assessments, documenting operational risks, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to design and implement effective controls. The analyst will contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing compliance and risk frameworks across multiple business lines. Key Responsibilities • Lead and facilitate risk assessment sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. • Identify and document process risks, controls, and mitigation strategies. • Collaborate with business partners, technology, and finance to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives. • Analyze customer, stakeholder, and operational impacts to drive continuous improvement. • Provide recommendations for business process redesign and policy updates to manage emerging risks. • Maintain project deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to governance standards. • Support change management initiatives and ensure compliance with enterprise policies. • Communicate project status and escalate issues to project managers and sponsors as needed. • Contribute to quality assurance by developing and executing test scripts for risk control solutions. Required Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Finance, or equivalent). • 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, operational risk, or process management. • Proven ability to lead large stakeholder groups and achieve alignment on risk controls. • Strong communication, documentation, and facilitation skills. • Advanced Excel and solid proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word). • Demonstrated understanding of Operational Risk Management principles and frameworks. Nice-to-Have Experience • 1+ year working with risk data or control data. • Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards. • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement experience.
