Job Summary
The Business Analyst IV, Risk & Control will play a key role in supporting ongoing risk assessment and business process excellence projects. This role involves facilitating risk and control assessments, documenting operational risks, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to design and implement effective controls. The analyst will contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing compliance and risk frameworks across multiple business lines.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead and facilitate risk assessment sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
β’ Identify and document process risks, controls, and mitigation strategies.
β’ Collaborate with business partners, technology, and finance to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
β’ Analyze customer, stakeholder, and operational impacts to drive continuous improvement.
β’ Provide recommendations for business process redesign and policy updates to manage emerging risks.
β’ Maintain project deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to governance standards.
β’ Support change management initiatives and ensure compliance with enterprise policies.
β’ Communicate project status and escalate issues to project managers and sponsors as needed.
β’ Contribute to quality assurance by developing and executing test scripts for risk control solutions.
Required Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a related field (Business, Finance, or equivalent).
β’ 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, operational risk, or process management.
β’ Proven ability to lead large stakeholder groups and achieve alignment on risk controls.
β’ Strong communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.
β’ Advanced Excel and solid proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word).
β’ Demonstrated understanding of Operational Risk Management principles and frameworks.
Nice-to-Have Experience
β’ 1+ year working with risk data or control data.
β’ Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards.
β’ Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement experience.
