Role description
Business Analyst – Cryptography / SSH Key Management Location: Sheffield (Hybrid – approx. 1 day per week onsite) Rate: £450 per day Contract: 6 Months Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge in cryptography and SSH key management to support a major security transformation programme within a financial services environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead SSH key discovery, analysis and inventory creation • Develop SSH key management standards, processes and governance • Support selection and implementation of new tooling (RFP preparation and evaluation) • Document business and technical requirements • Map and improve business and IT processes • Support Agile delivery, backlog documentation, user stories and change activity • Work closely with cybersecurity, engineering and wider technology stakeholders What We’re Looking For • Strong BA experience within financial services / banking • Solid background in cryptography and SSH key management • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience gathering and documenting requirements on large-scale change programmes • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities • Experience working in Agile environments Additional Desirable Skills • Familiarity with DevOps tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible) • Business process modelling and analysis experience • Understanding of security controls, risk, and compliance in regulated environments
