π Now Hiring: Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst | W2 Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst / Sr. Business Analyst to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity in Albany, NY. This role offers the chance to work on a mission-critical financial and contract management system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes, troubleshoot system issues, and drive system enhancements.
π Location: Albany, NY (12203)
π Duration: 3-Year Contract
π’ Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first 6 months, with potential hybrid flexibility thereafter
π Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze and evaluate business processes to identify improvements and implement solutions.
β’ Administer and support an Oracle PeopleSoft-based financial and contract management system.
β’ Manage user access security and workflow permissions, including onboarding and offboarding of users.
β’ Support and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO) and system workflow issues.
β’ Perform daily triage of system issues impacting invoices, contracts, and financial transactions.
β’ Manage system errors, customizations, and SQL updates through an issue-tracking system.
β’ Partner with IT teams and system vendors to implement efficient technical solutions.
β’ Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements and reporting.
β’ Support system upgrades, patches, and fixes.
β’ Work with finance teams to update funding codes for purchase orders.
β’ Develop standard and ad hoc reports to support operational and executive information needs.

Qualifications
β’ Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Ability to troubleshoot user issues and coordinate solutions with technical teams.
β’ Experience working in financial or contracting systems (Oracle PeopleSoft strongly preferred).
β’ Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
β’ Experience managing user access and workflow security for onboarding/offboarding.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
