Role description
Contract Business Analyst required for a leading property development company who have recently completed a company wide transformation programme involving the replacement of their core internal platform. This hire will provide support for phase two of that transformation. The successful Business Analyst hired will need extensive experience in driving output throughout the full software delivery lifecycle (SDLC). You will be working between business stakeholders and internal software development teams so experience of enterprise systems and bespoke applications are a must. Your main responsibilities would be: β€’ Engage with the wider team to review current systems, integrations, business processes and data sources. β€’ Discussing requirements with internal business stakeholders. β€’ Mediate between subject matter experts and applications developers, acting as a bridge between business challenges and technology solutions β€’ Run workshops to gather and document requirements, including the creation of User Stories for the development team. Ideal background: β€’ 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role with a proven track record of success in delivering software development, systems implementation and process change projects. β€’ Ability to map systems, understand data flows to produce strong and clear recommendations and documentation. β€’ Excellent knowledge of Agile system development tools, particularly Azure DevOps. This is an initial 7 month contract operating in a hybrid working pattern, 3 days per week in the client's Central London office, and offering a competitive daily rate Outside IR35.
