Business Analyst

A major client of ours has a need for a Business Analyst for their Jamesburg, NJ location. This is a long term contract and is hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable value. Objectives of this role: • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications. • Develop process flows, use cases, wireframes, and requirement documentation. • Work with Oracle ERP, SAP, or any other enterprise applications to enable smooth integrations. • Develop simple APIs, interfaces, and web services to enable application integration. • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements. • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support decision-making. • Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution. • Ensure business requirements are met in delivered solutions and support change management activities. • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. • Proven experience 1 to 2 years as a Business Analyst or in a related role. • Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and data flows. • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Visio or similar tools. • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience with SQL or data analysis tools (preferred but not required). • Experience working with Oracle ERP, SAP ERP, or any other home-grown applications is preferred.
