Role description
Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Alabama, USA (Hybrid)Employment Type: Long-term contract
Responsibilities:
Gather and document business and integration requirements.
Work on insurance processes (policy, claims, billing, underwriting).
Define integration needs (APIs, data mapping, transformation).
Create BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, and integration documents.
Collaborate with integration team (architects, developers, QA).
Support UAT and troubleshoot integration issues.
Prepare process flow and data flow diagrams.
Requirements:
Bachelorβs degree in Business, IT, or related field.
5+ years of BA experience, preferably in insurance (P&C).
Hands-on experience with Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
Strong experience with system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
Knowledge of integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, CSV.
Strong documentation, communication, and Agile/Scrum experience.
